Alex Iwobi to miss up to a month of football after sustaining injury

Arsenal's 20 year old attacker Alex Iwobi is set to remain on the sidelines after picking up a thigh injury in last weekend's match against Liverpool. The Nigeria international was replaced by Oxlade-Chamberlain after 59 minutes at the Emirates on Sunday.



According to sources close to the club, who have spoken to ESPN, DailyMail and BBC, Iwobi will miss Arsenal's next two games, against Leicester on Saturday and Watford the following weekend before a possible return on Sept. 10 against Southampton. Alexander Iwobi would also miss Nigeria's final African Nations Cup qualifier against Tanzania, even though the Super Eagles have already been eliminated
