'My one true love'- Omoni Oboli's husband, Nnamdi, sends her a loving birthday shoutout on IG

Actress Omoni Oboli is a year older today April 22nd. Her husband and father of her three sons, Nnamdi Oboli, took to his Instagram page to send her a loving birthday shout out. He wrote;

A BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ONE TRUE LOVE!!! I just want to thank God for His goodness and mercy for your life and what He has accomplished in and through you
I only ask for one thing from you Lord; that you keep her in peace and let her heart be steadfast towards You

I ask this because I know that the manifestation of the blessings that you have packaged for her
Would be impossible to contain in her human vessel, so she will need to stay connected under your ever loving banner

I'm not putting these heartfelt words together just to sound poetic

But as your husband I speak with the conviction of one entrusted to speak life to you in the prophetic
Long life and prosperity we often bless many on this joyous occasion
And why not? This prayer covers everything and all we need to mention

May you live long to enjoy the prosperity that God has given you In Jesus name!
Happy Birthday babe!
Love you loads ❤❤❤❤❤️ PS: I know you're leading all the #WivesOnStrike, but at least I can get a welfare offering. No one needs to know, cos when you give an offering, the left hand does not need to know what the right hand is giving #omonioboli #happybirthday

MI to battle Peter Okoye at Merrybet's celebrity fan's challenge

The organisers of the celebrity football fan contest- Celebrity Fans Challenge have announced the first fixture of the event and it is a showdown between African music heavyweights- MI and Mr. P (Peter of P-Square). MI will fight in the colours of Arsenal FC, while Peter does battle for Chelsea FC in a verbal and physical football contest.

They have both taken to their Twitter/Instagram handles of late, threatening to spill blood, but the question on our minds is - who will carry the day and whose ego will get bashed?!

It will be interesting to see if MI can get revenge for Arsenal- who are regularly referred to by Chelsea fans as 'our wives', following the constant beatings 'The Gunners' have suffered at the hands of 'The Blues' of late, but MI will fight to live up to his nickname- 'Mr. Incredible'.

Expect fireworks from Peter though, as he is famous for his passion for Chelsea and his sound knowledge of football. It will also be interesting to see who comes out on top in the physical aspects of the contest. Overall, it promises to be the showdown of the year, as nothing gets these guys more excited than football. Hurry and get your ticket now!!!!

The Leadership of the House of Representatives have summoned the Controller-General of Nigeria Prison, Peter Ezenwa Ekpendu, over allegations that one of his aides slapped a female lawmaker, Onyemeachi Mprakpor, for overtaking his convoy within the premises of the National Assembly on Wednesday April 20th.

Briefing his colleagues and presenting a petition by the assaulted lawmaker at yesterday's plenary, the House of Representatives Minority Leader, Leo Ogor, said Mkrakpor who represents Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency of Delta State, was on her way out of the complex and attempted to overtake the 20-car convoy of the prison boss when she was stopped and assaulted by one of his aides

“They blocked her car, and started bashing her car. When she wound down the windows, an aide slapped her in the face. The CG sat in the comfort of his car while this happened,” Ogor narrated.
Also speaking, the Majority Leader of the house, Femi Gbajabiamila, said Mrakpor called him and was crying after she was assaulted.

The house after its deliberations, resolved to summon the Prison boss over the matter.

Meanwhile the prison authority says it has begun investigations into the said assault on the female lawmaker. Spokesperson of the Nigerian Prison Service, Francis Enobore, said
“We were all present at the National Assembly on Wednesday with the CG. He had a long convoy, but we all left the place together at the same time and while we were at the place, there was no fight or quarrel between any of our personnel and anyone around. As we all left together with the CG, it is not possible for anyone of us to have jumped down from the convoy and went back to the complex to fight anybody.”
He said the prison boss has constituted a panel of inquiry into the alleged assault.
Rashida Yusuf shared these photos of a female truck driver she met on her way to Yola from Lagos. What she wrote below: "On my way to Ningi, I saw a female Dangote driver Halima from shendam Plateau state, on a journey from Lagos to Yola, what a man can do a woman can do better"

Thank You

THANK YOU! Nagode, Ese, Imela, Gracias!
Two words that are seldom used. Learn and know how to say thank you for every act of kindness shown or done to you, no matter how small or big.
Even if you know or feel the person has the capacity to do more. Go ahead and show gratitude, the person may have gone extra miles to extend that kind act to you.
You should understand there are a million and one persons out there the kind act could have gone to but you were singled out for it.
When someone calls you, texts you, compliments you, lends you a helping hand, etc the list is endless. Say THANK YOU! Show sincere gratitude and appreciation.
Say thank you and mean it.
