Federal High Court slams injunction on Runtown (details)

This is Ericmany Records side of the story. Read below...
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has slammed an injunction against the rising musical artiste Douglas Jack-Agu aka "Runtown". The injunction prevents him from performing at any event or any form of recording for the time being unless with the approval of Ericmany Limited. Runtown is signed under the Ericmany Entertainment label that presently holds the copyright to all his music.
He was sued in the Federal High Court by Ericmany on allegations that he signs up, concludes and attends musical shows without the knowledge of the label. Ericmany Entertainment was said to have invested millions of naira on Runtown.

However trouble started when Runtown apparently with the connivance of Bug Media ran by one Bugwu Aneto began to sideline Ericmany and collected money directly for shows without the knowledge of Ericmany. Bug Media is also a party to the court case.

In another twist of events, the management of Ericmany has sacked the said Bugwu Aneto as General Manager of the company for infractions which might not be unconnected with his alleged connivance with Runtown to shortchange the Label Ericamany.

All inquiries about the artiste and bookings for shows would no longer be through Aneto but through the management of Ericmany.

It is not clear how the young artiste is reacting to the court case and injunction. Observers suggest he was misled by Bugwu, the former General Manager of Ericmany to ditch his boss and benefactor Ericmany, and may now that the chips are down find ways to go back and reconcile with the Ericmany. Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose responds to domestic abuse allegations against her father

Lily-Rose Depp, 17, has responded to the domestic violence allegations made against her father by his estranged wife, Amber Heard.

The 17-year-old took to Instagram to share a throwback photo of herself as a baby learning how to walk with her father's guidance, along with the caption,
"My dad is the sweetest, most loving person I know, he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same."
Heard filed for divorce and was granted a domestic violence order against Johnny Depp. She and her lawyer appeared in court with photos of her bruises which she claims were inflicted various times during their marriage.

This is a screenshot of PEOPLE's article about Amber's domestic abuse claim, which states that the Los Angeles Police Department had responded to Amber's call last Saturday, but that there hadn't been any evidence of a crime nor had Amber wished to file a report. The article goes on to state that even if she had declined a report, had there had been any evidence of abuse, they would have conducted an investigation regardless.

'Goodluck Jonathan's phone call to concede defeat left me in shock' - President Buhari

President Buhari yesterday revealed that the call from former President Jonathan conceding defeat before INEC announced the results of the 2015 Presidential election, left him in shock. Buhari disclosed this while speaking at the luncheon he organized for state house correspondents at the presidential villa yesterday May 30th.

"This is where I pay my respect to former President Goodluck Jonathan. This is actually a privileged information for you (journalists). He called me at a quarter past five in the evening. He said ‘Good evening your excellency’, and I said “Good evening your excellency’. He said I have called to congratulate you that I have conceded defeat. Of course there was dead silence on my end because I did not expect it. I was shocked. I did not expect it because after 16 years in government, the man was a deputy governor, a governor, a Vice-President and was President for six years. For him to have conceded defeat even before the result was announced by INEC, I think that was quite generous and gracious of him.”he said

Photos: Somali Military court sentences masterminds of Daallo Airline bomb attack, including airport security chief

Somalia’s military court in Mogadishu on Monday, May 30 pronounced sentence on Daallo Airline suicide attack suspects. Abdiwali Mohmoud Mo’ow who was the security chief of aviation agency at Adan Aden International Airport  was given life in jail sentence.

Arays Hashi Abdi a businessman who is said to be the main mastermind of the attack received the sentences in absentia.
Abshir Mohmmed Malin and Safiyo Abdullahi Hassan- the security scan operators sentenced to four years in military jail.
Liban Mohammad Yalahow, Omar Muhaydadin Hassuin, Mohammad and  Abdi Ilmi have been slapped with a sentence of one year in military jail.
Bashir Abdullahi Afrah, Ali Nor Salad And Adan Dahir Salad Shiekhow sentenced to 6 months in military Jail. Five others were acquitted after they were found not guilty.

On February 2, laptop bomber identified as Abdullahi Abdisalam Borleh, an elderly Somali national attacked Daallo Airlines Flight 3159.
The suspected suicide bomber detonated on board the Somalia-owned Daallo Airlines plane in mid-air, as it took off from Aden Adde International airport in Mogadishu.
The explosion failed to down the commercial jet, but it left a gaping hole in the fuselage. The force of the blast sucked the alleged bomber out of the plane’s cabin. His body fell to the ground near the district of Bal’ad, about 20 miles from the capital, where it was recovered by authorities.
The pilot of the Airbus A321 was forced to make an emergency landing just minutes after takeoff. The security footage released days later showed two men – one wearing a bright orange airport security vest (said to be Abdiweli, who is now sentenced to life in jail)– handing over what looks like a laptop case to a passenger waiting to board. Investigators said the laptop-like bag contained the bomb that was detonated on board the Djibouti-bound flight.
Al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for a purported bomb attack on a passenger plane, saying it was targeted at Western officials and Turkish NATO forces.
Al Shabab said the operation was "retribution for the crimes committed by the coalition of Western crusaders and their intelligence agencies against the Muslims of Somalia"
