Ibe Kachikwu hands over to new NNPC GMD, Maikanti Baru

Minister of state for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, this morning handed over to the new Group Managing Director of NNPC, Maikanti Baru. Kachikwu will now assume his position as the chairman of the corporation. In his speech, Kachikwu thanked President Buhari for giving him the opportunity to serve as the Group Managing Director of the corporation. He promised to show his full support to the leadership of the new GMD. 

 

On his part, Baru pledged to carry on with the reforms Kachikwu had started in the corporation.
